What changed in AirWallet, newest first.

Each day lists the biggest changes first.

October 15, 2026

New:

Linux comes as one AppImage file. Make it executable and double-click it. Nothing is unpacked or installed. See Install.
You can install AirWallet Online as an app: Add to Home Screen on an iPhone, Install in Chrome on Android and computers. Installed, it opens without a connection and shows the last balances it saw. See AirWallet Online.
Payment notifications on Android, Mac, Linux and AirWallet Online: Settings → Notify me of payments. See Notifications and token approvals.
Ethereum token approvals: see which apps may still spend your tokens, and remove each approval, from an offline device too.
An optional explorer API key, from Etherscan or Blockscout, fills in Activity and the approvals check where the free explorers have nothing, such as BNB Chain. Settings → Bitcoin and Ethereum servers.
Multisig: the offline device signs as one cosigner for Bitcoin (P2WSH), Safe on Ethereum and Squads on Solana. It has not been tried with every other app yet.
Ready for Zcash's next network upgrade, NU7.
Ready for Google Play: the Android app targets Android 16, with edge-to-edge screens and the new back gesture.
Smaller downloads. The Android apps are about 37% smaller (AirWallet 6.8 MB, AirWallet Offline 5.6 MB), and the Apple Silicon Mac download is 33 MB.

Fixed:

Solana's durable nonce can be set up from AirWallet's send screen. Before, with it turned on, a send from a wallet without a nonce account failed there.
Speed it up and Call it off show on any waiting Ethereum payment in Activity, not only on the sending screen.
A Monero-only (Polyseed) wallet can pair with Feather and Cake.
Add a token shows in every layout and in the ⌘K menu, not only in the Side layout.
Activity on Base, Arbitrum, Polygon and Robinhood Chain loads on Android again.
With dollar values off, price requests no longer name the tokens you hold.
The app lock's wrong-try wait cannot turn into a long lockout when a device's clock is set back.

Smaller changes:

The apps' pages run only scripts whose exact contents were fingerprinted at build time.
Every piece of outside code is listed with its fingerprint, and any change has to be reviewed.
Monero's sync shows real progress, and names a Monero network upgrade this version does not know.
The offline device says when its clock is far off.

Also new that day:

Older Android phones: Android 10 and later run everything as they come, Monero included, and Android 7 to 9 need one web-engine update before going offline.
New keys mix more than one random source, and you can add dice: 50 or 99 rolls, as SeedSigner does it.
The offline device signs for more apps: Solflare and Backpack (Solana), Feather and Cake (Monero).
Automatic encrypted backups, on by default on phones.
A connection page: online, each network checked; offline, why it cannot connect.
Report a problem.
Brighter QR screens, a torch button, and a "Bigger dots, slower" option.
Ethereum fees from the network, shown as "likely" and "at most".
Speed up or call off a stuck Ethereum payment.
Ledger Live and MyEtherWallet accounts are found.
Stronger look-alike address warnings.

One app per platform. Its first screen asks whether the device is your everyday wallet or your offline signer. AirWallet Offline is the hardened build. The earlier apps stay installed as AirWalletSol and AirWalletX, and no longer change.
Monero and Zcash in every copy of AirWallet: desktop, Android and the Chrome extension.
AirWallet Online at airwallet.tech/online: the everyday side as a watch-only web page, with Monero and Zcash. It keeps a view key only after a warning.
Installers: a Mac DMG for Apple Silicon and for Intel, a Windows .exe and Android APKs.
Vanity finds are independent: one find says nothing about another. Finds from one search made before this date are linked, so treat them as one.
The same wallets in both modes.
Monero's sync no longer starts over on a slow connection.
Payment codes carry the balances the wallet already knows instead of waiting for the network.

October 12: Zcash (shielded and transparent), Zcash vanity addresses and the Onyx design.
October 4 to 11: AirWallet for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, with QR-code signing, a Chrome extension, hardware wallets, Sparrow and MetaMask codes, the app lock and duress PINs. Then AirWalletX with Monero.
